im still getting an xbox 360 though, only thing that impresses me about the ps3 is bluetooth and thats bout it.

I'm sticking with my PC in the meantime. Honestly, I'm only interested in the handhelds. Seems like there might be some actual innovation there...
Okay, okay - getting on topic. Let's see... real-time or not, there was something not quite right about the PS3 tech demos. It's specifications are incredibly impressive, but we were gawking over tech demos and specs back with the PS2 as well. It won't really be the same, but maybe not quite as groundbreaking as anyone would hope. Just look at the PS3's exterior, even it looks like the PS2 version 1.5 - slightly beveled, controllers get... longer handles?
To my latter comment, I direct the same towards the 360 - in fact, the S controller looks horrible at that color. At least the 360 is nowhere near as ugly as the Xbox.
It comes down to software for me. I'm not interested in many titles announced thus far for the PS3, but the 360 has my attention with Perfect Dark Zero, Gears of War, The Elder Scrolls IV, DOA4, a possible Ninja Gaiden... and while it is not a game, my beloved Xbox Live could be better than ever.

I'm pretty sure the PS3 will have controllers like the PS2 eventually. After people start complaining anyway.
