According to Reuters and Yahoo who recently conducted an interview with Square Enix President Yoichi Wada, the company is planning to release the next installment of its Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy series on next generation consoles.
The consoles mentioned in the interview were the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and surprisingly, the Xbox 360. This would mark the first multi-console release of a Final Fantasy game.
With Microsoft always attempting to win over Japanese gamers, this news may bring additional credibility to the new Xbox 360.
