...is a great game. I got it yesterday for my birthday, and was delighted to learn a few things: While it takes away from some of the fun, it is playable with a regular Gamecube controller, meaning I don't have to shell out $30 to play multiplayer. Also, you don't have to clap very hard for it to register.

I played on "Monkey" mode, the easiest mode of the 3: Monkey, Chimp, and Gorilla. I played a few songs practice, then after an hour and a half was able to completely beat Challenge mode, which is all 33 songs in a row, you have to pass each and every song. Monkey mode was really easy, but I took a bit of time trying Chimp, and it's quite a lot harder, so Gorilla won't be too easy.

I give it an 9/10. The only minus is that I see it getting boring eventually, after I beat all 3 modes, though multiplayer will mean I'll keep playing for who knows how long.

I would give it a 6/10. It is a good game, but it doesnt have much, playing value? I guess..thats not the right word. What I mean to say is, Its ok if you have a huge party or even a small party with a few guests around and to play 2 player with them. But alone playing Donkey Konga

Are you serious? anyone who plays DDR or Donkey Konga alone is a psycho, or has no children/is alone/lives under a rock.

No, it's a generally fun game. And after playing it and stuff, even though in concept it's like DDR, they really can't be compared. That's like comparing Diablo 2 with, say, WoW. They both have RPG elements in it, but they're quite different.

Im not comparing DDR with Donkey Konga, because I say they both would get boring in one day If you play by yourself one player.

And you've compared DKonga with DDR before, and I'm just saying, it's a lot different. As for playing DKonga alone, it's like sitting in your room playing guitar. Or playing drums rather, whereas DDR is like...dancing alone.
