Anyways, the guy put on this movie and for about twenty minutes they just flashed through pictures of car accidents and severed bodies and afterwards he was talking and telling us stories and my eyes got kinda watery and I can usually handle these things, but after the first bloody slide, I couldn't watch anymore. I've been thinking about this all day long and I don't know how well I'm going to sleep tonight.

so basically you haven't been through much de-sensitation, is that it?
after a while, you don't feel much... it happens with people who have lots of experience in the field that would give a normal person the "shock" value..
thats just how it is i guess...
Pictures and Dead Bodies in hospitals don't bother me as much as the actual situation as it is happening.. like if i was in the middle of it.. Example: if I got into an accident, even if it wasn't my fault, and the other driver is totally splattered on the canvas of the road, and i managed to be ok... that would mess me up.. just because of the lack of understanding as to what happened at that split moment it took place, and then the realization comes in, but the shock stays for a while..
