city of heroes is awesome.

i am sure city of villians will be great too.

just read the specs and the game sounds pretty good.

being able to design your own base sounds like an interesting addition.

I play City of Heroes on the Victory server. I am a level 44 Claws/Regen/Dark Mastery Scrapper.

Currently, I've only PLAYED the CoV beta, but I loved it. I will be buying it just as soon as I can find a price in the $30 range.

I played CoH for a long while, but I loved just messing around, and the highest I got was a level 24 Spines/Regen scrapper. Spines is awesome, and loads of fun.

I played the CoV beta, and while I had a lot of fun, I don't really think that it's worth $15 per month.

If you're buying CoV alone, yes, it's $15 per month.

If you already have CoH and are suscribed, you pay nothing for CoV other than the price of the game.

I always wanted to try Spines...

I played COH in beta and for a while after release.. Always enjoyed it.. just didn't involve me as much as I might have liked.. My nephews are playing COV right now and they love it. I like how they made the expansion into a stand-alone game. I think that was a pretty good idea.

Well yeah, but I never actually owned CoH, I played on my friend's account. He and I were both getting bored with CoH, as the missions were bland and whatnot, so he cancelled his account. Since he's not playing anymore, I'd need to shell out the $15 per month for CoV.

Spines is a lot of fun though. It's like a cross between a Scrapper and a Blaster or something like that, because it has quite a lot of AoE (Spine Burst is the main one, but it has cones and stuff, as well as Quills).
