I'm also going for AMD - if you haven't noticed, I'm using one.
AMD deserves this and their timing is right on the head - this is a lot different from the suit filed in 2001, where the FTC was involved. At any rate, Intel has already issued a statement, and I quote...
"Intel has always respected the laws of the countries in which we operate," Otellini, Intel CEO said in a statement.
"We compete aggressively and fairly to deliver the best value to consumers. This will not change."
Again, AMD still deserves a larger share - the facts are there - AMD processors have been overall, ahead of Intel in nearly all areas of performance since around 2003. AMD is simply not gaining that share because they're still the little guys - Intel has a lot of friends that aren't too keen on throwing out even the slightest bit of trust and consumers are being prevented from getting more info about AMD - especially because Dell is too stupid to see AMD would help out, despite the fact that AMD probably couldn't keep up with Dell's manufacturing requirements at the moment.
