Microsoft's online service reaches the highest amount of subscribers to date and promises to support the latest and greatest in gaming.

Microsoft announced today that its Xbox Live online service has reached a total of more than two million subscribers from across the globe.

The new total is about twice as big as last years amount for the paid online service.

My son subscibes, and loves it! I think it is way too cool...I wish we had shit like that when I was a kid! In my time, you could not even imagine playing a game against someone in like Austrailia and actually talking to them as well! I personally think it is a fantastic brain fart!!

I use x-box live quite a lot. New maps have been released for Halo2 so ive been playing that quite a bit recently
