Casinos...ah, good thing? bad thing?

To my surprised, I'm lucky enough to get into this casino that allows 18 years old to gamble. (very rare) Pretty neat, a 35 minute ferry ride and I'm at the casino, and they'll re-imburse your ferry tickets plus give you a free meal (that sucks) but hey free food is good....

I played the 2 cents slot machine today, and with my first dollar, I won ten bucks...not bad...I cashed it out and bought a J-Pop CD afterwards...heh...

To my surprised, ther are some states that prohibits gambling, when I was in Atlanta, they told me that you have to get out of state to gamble...geeze...

and here, casinos are littered about the interstate Highway and in cities in Washington State.

Anyhoo, what are your views casinos, are they good for the economy or not? Any lucky or pitiful experience in the gambling halls? ;)

hmmm i dont think theres a good thing and a bad thing about casino, i think its just there to take money and give money.

Gambling is illegal. It is not allowed in many religons. Like mines. But, if people like casinos, they can go in them. Not like I will.
