I have been told that they are cheap and nasty, they overheat and are noisy. IS THIS SO?

Your opinions guys Yes or NO

P.S IF YOU THINK THAT IS A BIT WEIRD THAT MOST COMPONENTS ARE INTEL BECAUSE THE MUSIC SOFTWARE THAT IM USING WORKS BEST WITH INTEL.

Thanks

stick with intel
upgrade the 80GB Drive to nothing lower than 120MB, I have a DJ Setup on my pc in the studio and its not an e-cube, though e-cube are handy to carry around and all, for the price you are bout to spend you can get more bang for the buck by going to a mid tower pc. But if are still going to e-cube. Go hope over to shuttle pc

their AB60R should be just right for you.

one of my musicians uses a pc on the road, his setup is sweet, he pc is installed in a 19" rackmount case, chassis is 1" high and he has 3 Drives inside it, maybe you should look into a 19" rackmount pc chassis.

I built one for him, but im sure you can find a builder in your area to build a 19" rackmount pc. and im pretty sure with you traveling on the road your amps and processing equipment is all rackmounted in a rack mount case, right?
