Christmas to me is the celebration of the Lord's birth; and I rejoice in that. I also love giving and receiving presents. I mostly give presents now because I have children, but I enjoy seeing the look on their faces when they open their gifts.
I agree that Christmas is the birthday of our Lord. It is really great to see children opening their gifts on the eve of Christmas. Giving is pleasant and so as to receiving gifts.
For me Christmas is just another day that I could just past it out. It is the same thing every year. I am more excited after Christmas because it is my birthday.
I love Christmas because of what it represents to me and that is the Lord's birth. However, I think it could do with a little toning down. As I usually complain each year, there's too much commercialism.
I'm not really a religious person, but I see it as a time when I can break out my flute and collect money for charities for kids who wont have a Christmas.
Christmas is celebration of Lord's Birthday, a visit to Church and loads of gifts for my family. My kids also get too thrilled to get Christmas gifts, their excitement has already started building up.
