Is anyone else out there experiencing a dramatic drop in speed since the new owner took over??

I have such a hard time loging on and posting because it takes so long....half the time I get a timed out error.

This does not happen on any other site I try to access so I know it is the site...not my computer.

Maybe if we all post the problems we are experiencing, the owner will do something to try and fix them.

Just thought I would add that it is now 3 in the morning and the speed is normal, so this must just be happening during peak times when everyone wants to be on.
I also tried to send a comment to the Web Master...which is what it told me to do on the screen earlier. I clicked on the address, composed the e-mail and sent it....only to have it come back saying that the recipient was not recognized,

The website pages do take very long to download it is true.....

i'm on a 256 k broadband connexion, the place I access hasn't gone higher yet , might be the reason...

pages do take a long time to open, it can be stressing in the long run, sad though as this is a good forum

Yes it takes kind of a while but im used to it now.

I cannot believe you have not noticed a difference Diablo.
I have high speed and a fairly good computer and for me it has slowed down drastically. By the sounds of it, many others are experiencing the same thing. Before the hand-over, I NEVER had to wait for the site or any of the pages to open...now it happens daily.

Then again, I usually open up multiple windows at a time, and I'm doing other stuff other than browsing BG, so I'm not like staring at the screen, waiting for pages to load.
