Finding Crossfire cards and Crossfire capable motherboards is turning out to
be an impossible task. Even though numerous reports that Crossfire cards
were supposed to be available in June and Crossfire Motherboards in July --
I have yet to see any in the retail channels.

I think it will happen, but I think I'll hold off on the first revision of
the motherboards and cards until I can see some concrete reviews. I'm
guessing it'll be more like Sept/Oct before this hardware starts to trickle
out to the real world.

It's a pity, probably they are scarce because it's so new.

Hopefully it'll be sooner.

No rush, so long as it happens this year. Besides I dropped in 2GB of
PC3200 400Mhz Corsair extreme performance CL2 and it works better than my
1GB PC4000 500Mhz Corsair extreme performance CL3 -- go figure! FS9.1 is
running very well right now, 45 fps avg even at 1600 x 1200 4X AA and 8XAF
with detail turned up high and lots of AI traffic with third party
scenery/terrain mesh and aircraft and ActiveSkyV. Think I've finally found
the magic compromises needed to make this setup work well.

Just wish 3rd party AC were more compatible with my GoFlight controls.

Good! If double RAM size has such a impact on performace(even though it's
slower) - then maybe double VRAM size(the 512MB XL) would give a even bigger
impact(even though it's slower) - it's possible.

Rob,

Goflight just release a new version of their control software, adding
support for the LD767 among other things:

Katy,

Thanks, I have 1.50, but I'll get 1.53 ASAP -- looks like it solve many of
my issues with mapping to other 3rd party AC.

I love my GoFlight gear and their support.
