The News Discussion Thread
I was thinking about a thread where we would discuss the latest game news whatever it may be. Stuff that isn't worth a new thread or such. If you think this is worth a sticky I suggest you give it one.

First, the good news. Resident Evil 4 is getting a PS2 version due to heavy demand. It will be out by the end of 2005. I doubt it will match the look on the GameCube but hey, it's better than nothin. The US GC version is coming January 11th.

So, has anyone seen the last Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater trailer from TGS(Tokyo Game Show)? The one with Snake and the Boss chic standing in a field of flowers ??
I was thinking about how it seems to have spoilers ? I doubt Kojima would make such a mistake ? What do you think ?

The graphics are amazing. With probably the best lighting, fire and water effects on the PS2 so far. Not to menthion the faces and body animation..etc. But this game is really about the gameplay, and the awesome story. The first MGS on the PS1 got an award for its story.

MGS 3 is great. Plays like a dream, and has some of the best graphics on the PS2. I swear some of those cutscenes could be mistaken for FMV.
Anyway, in other news:
Eurocom (The World is Not Enough for N64 and Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy) are working with the writer for the Splinter Cell games to make a title based on the upcoming Batman Begins flick. Stealth-action goodness mixed with great visuals, high production values, and a heavy emphasis on scaring the crap out of your enemies.
Looks good.
