So who is your choice? I used to be a big fan of Britney Spears and i really loved her sweet image when she first started. But then, i was so disappointed because she turned out to be some kind of a freak. If i will choose between Britney and Christina, maybe it will be Christina. She has a better voice than Britney. But then she tried to compete with Britney which made people to hate her also.

Britney may or may not rise in her singing career, but she is very popular with her fans. She is far better than Aguillera. Spears though is most of the times involved in some or the other controversy, but she still rules the music scene.

When I was younger, it was Madonna who broke onto the music scene and caused all of the controversy. Now we have Spears and Aguillera, among others. The question is, will we remember these two 20 years from now like we have with Madonna? For me, neither of these two can compared to the Material Girl.

I'm old enough to remember those times too. I used to get Cyndi Lauper and Madonna mixed up.

I'm not a fan of both singers but controversies aside Aguillera is far the better singer.

I would go with Britney Spears. I didn't become a fan of her music until she went crazy. Her last album is great. I like Christina, but she's not much of an entertainer. IMO, they're in two different leagues. It's like comparing Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston. Janet is an entertainer, but Whitney has the voice. I think Britney will always be the bigger star, if she can stay sane.

yes, i agree. maybe because Britney Spears has more appeal than Christina. Although Britney had so many issues, people are still supporting her, and she is very lucky.

Yes we can call her lucky, in spite of going astray most of the times, she is able to get back to the track. Imagine if she gives her 100% to the music world, there will be no stopping for her.

Britney will really go far in the music biz and if she will only learn how to focus on her career and be a good model, she will be the number one pop singer.
