I am writing because I'm looking for a program Windows (if possible freeware) to convert a lot of .flv file to .avi or .mpg, maybe that automatically choose the best setting.

I've already tried but:
Aimersoft Video Converter works but it's not free
Any Video Converter create a speed up video with an audio not synchronized
Aone FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter V4.2 creates audio not synchronized with the video
Avidemux creates audio not synchronized with the video
AVS Video Converter works but is not free
BitComet FLV Converter 1.0 creates audio not synchronized with the video

I download a few myself and I got me one that works. I don't really know whay you're looking for, but check this out. Mp4 ipod converter. It converts .flv to avi or mpeg.

You can download Mp4 Ipod Converter at DVD to iPod + iPod Video Converter Suite - Free Convert Video/Movie/DVD to iPod/iTunes Software, Free Download! , but I don't think it is a free program. Your best bet is to find the one that works the best and buy it if your going to be using it a lot.

Have you tried Freez products?

Freez Flv to AVI MPEG WMV Converter 1.5 Free Download - Convert Flash FLV video to AVI, MPEG, WMV.

Haven't tried this one but I've used two Freez converters and they worked well. If you'll consider commercial I highly recommend getting Winavi.
