Default Genre of movies

Are you hooked on a specific genre of movies? Like Quentin Tarantino, I love the old martial arts movies from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The two companies that produced the majority of them were Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest.

Jackie Chan was a pioneer in martial arts movies because he brought comedy to the movies. Although the plots were usually the same,e.g., revenge, the goof ball humor was what really drew me to the theaters.
