Has anyone seen the old classic 'The Magnificent Seven'? I just saw it recently on my friend's recommendation.it is great. How do you like this amazing actor called Yul Brynner?
I have the movie on dvd. It was on a PBS station one even and my 12 year old son and I sat down and watched it. I always loved this movie and thought it would be a fun way to introduce him to it. My wife doesn't like westerns but she thought the music was great.
Did you know that it was based on the Seven Samurai? That's another classic but it's 4 hours long and really bloody. Won't be letting my son see that one for a while. LOL
Well, I guess I'm showing my age, but Yul Brenner was in a ton of movies when I was growing up. I saw him on stage live in "The King and I." He made the role of the king famous.
I love the old classic movies. The Magnificent Seven was a top rated movie; Yul Brenner as always was a wonderful actor. I wish we had more actors like him today.
My favorite classic movie id Ben-Hur, it is one of the classiest movies. I consider it The Masterpiece of Art.It starred the legendary actor Charlton Heston.
